Awesome post. We have so much power to control our own lives in our mind. If we just focus on the fact that things will get better, and that life isn't that bad, things get put in perspective.

Affirmations are very powerful, and for us anxiety sufferers particularly so because we tend to dwell on the bad things in life, such as the negative things we think people think of us. It can be a good idea to write down positive things about ourselves because we tend to forget that we have anything positive at all. Additionally, it can be very powerful to stand in front of a mirror and recite those positive things about ourselves for 5 minutes every day - this can bring about a huge change in our self-esteem. A great reminder post for all anxiety sufferers.
