		<description>Hey interesting post,
I been personally involved in success conditioning and life coaching for many years and i also make this distinction between being self confident and being arrogant. I think the one thing that we all must avoid throughout our journey towards success is arrogance. It is my belief that arrogance is bragging, or putting people below oneself. This is not true success as serving others should be your primary goal. self confidence is having the strength to belive in oneself and the awareness to see that positive things we occur in the future. I think it is absolutely neccessary to have self confidence but to control it as your ego might get fueled. One other point i think should be said is that sometimes its good to have contrast. You obviously are not going to be confident about everything in your life or every aspect. Those aspects that you are not internally confident in provide you with the awareness of what it is you want and where exactly you currently are (the gap if you wish). It is not a bad thing if your not always confident about certain things or certain situations. I think this post can serve alot of people, maybe you can post some more information on how we can all differentiate between confidence and ego, and some methods on how to overcome ego.
I love to share my own personal experiences with you in my own personal blog over here if your interested.
best regards
