I know this sounds a bit contrarian, but do we actually need to have self-confidence. I used to try to improve my confidence but I found that when I just focused on doing things because they matter to me and trying to be the kind of person I can be proud of that I just did what I needed to do regardless of whether I felt confident or not. I wouldn't say my confidence has improved but my life certainly has.

What an excellent list. Every single item is so important. "Break large goals up into achievable smaller goals" is something I've been working on - it's like magic. I'm getting huge projects done just from breaking them down into small steps. And I love "Help kids become self-confident." So glad you thought of that.

Very nice list. I think that 9, 14, 24, and 65 are especially important things to remember.
