You also need to give yourself some time to adjust to the fact that you have been fired. This can be a traumatic time and you will want to think about how you are feeling and what you want to do about it.

You need to be honest with yourself and your family about your feelings and what you want to do. You should not be afraid to ask them for help if you need it and to get support from them as well.

Be positive and put your feelings ahead of everything else. You want to be able to move past getting fired, but you also want to think of things that you can do to make this a learning experience and to give it some purpose. You will see that you can come out a winner and find personal strength and growth from this ordeal.
