Before I eat any food I have to have someone else eat it. I dont eat at restaurants unless they have proof of good hygiene (thankfully made eaier by a new government scheme). I won't eat anything on it's expiration date as it goes straight in the bin. Thankfully my husband is very understanding and carries additional purell gel, etc when we're out for me in case I run out or else we would have to go back home. It goes way beyond being anxious about vomitting, it leads to lifestyle changes, and people generally assume we're "Germ-phobic". Excessive hand-washing, panic attacks when people around you may be sick or contagious, avoiding any place one may see someone get sick or catch the illness. It's very isolating.. #12 is actually emetophobia, as Shannon said above me.
