Friday 12 May 2006

Today, morphine addicts are hitting the streets harder than ever before. Morphine came from the all mighty opium seeds, which at one time opium was a good thing until man put his hands on the natural plant. After ingredients were discovered, it brought in morphine, which is potent, and later brought in heroin.

Morphine is now famous, and is highly potent and deadly. The addictive chemicals are highly potent, causing millions to fall victim of this chemical. Morphine has active ingredients, which includes ammonias, and particular types of acids. This has made morphine highly addictive as a result. The drug will set off a high with its crystal lines.

Typically, morphine is a non-colored drug. Most persons will consume morphine by pills. Since it is, also a prescription medication that treats pain, etc, yet while taking it on the streets (powder/injections) this drug can cause a high to occur which lasts a short time and then the person may or may not crave more.

Cigarettes and/or Tobacco

Cigarettes are probably one of the leading addictions today. Recently laws increased tax on the product, yet it has not made headway as to encouraging people to stop. Furthermore, new laws are issued daily-prohibited smokers to smoke in certain areas, yet it is not stopping the smokers addicted to the nicotine. With new information in hand, it is a wonder that laws have not prohibited smoking all together, yet would it make a difference if they did. Marijuana, cocaine, and other drugs are all illegal, yet many people use them. Furthermore, the law will only issue a message that the people have no rights, or choices.

Nicotine has more than 14 drugs that are addictive. Nicotine alters the functions of the brain, which creates a craving to use the drugs. The drugs will cause symptoms of withdrawal, e.g. if the person tries to quite smoking anxiety attacks will occur, irritability, etc. Cigarettes or forms of nicotine will cause a person to feel a sense of relief while smoking the drug. Nicotine is the most difficult drug to stop using. Nicotine is the leading drug that has claimed many lives and continues to claim lives daily.

Is Marijuana an Addictive Drug?

At one point, I disagreed that marijuana is an addictive drug, but after interviewing a party addicted to marijuana, I’ve concluded that it is possible to rely on marijuana. Marijuana is smoked in rollup papers, pipes, bombs, etc. Marijuana can be smoked as hash, i.e. hash is different yet it gives the same affect as marijuana. If the person is addicted, they will smoke the marijuana anyway they can, including poking holes in cans to smoke the drug.

Marijuana is grown as a plant throughout the summer and is produced as a joint or smoking drug during the wintertime. The person picks the leaves and buds, targeting the buds since the buds give the best high effect. The leaves are thrashed, since the buds are more potent. After the plant is hung upside down for curing, (The TAC drains and the buds are more potent during this phase) the marijuana is developed.

In this article, I am going to inform you by offering illustrations of true stories relating to crack and addicts. The victims of these people are eve increasing just as the number of crack addicts is increasing.

A Crack Addict Woman’s Story

One man met a woman online, which turned out to be his worst nightmare. The woman at first was not addicted to crack, but after coming in contact with the drug she chose to try, and become instantly addicted. After she became a crack head, she became obsessively controlling. The woman stole from her mate, using his credit cards, checks and cash to support her drugs. She even traded the man’s vehicle for drugs. He finally got his truck back three days later. The driver in the truck was an eighteen-year old boy, who obviously was a crack addict also.

Prescription Addiction

Wednesday 10 May 2006

Many addictions are often so covert and pervasive that they are as invisible to a person as they just don’t exist. A person consciously at times is not aware of his dependence on a particular thing yet his dependence may be affecting as negatively as much as that of overt addictions.

What are Prescription Addictions?

Prescriptions Addictions is also one of such kind, which starts unknowingly, and until the time person gets aware of it, he already becomes an addict of it.

Prescriptions are doctor prescribed drugs that are given when illness exist. These are given with a specific purpose, as a cure to existing ailment or as a source of relief from the growing pain.

Some people experience chronic pain and max out on painkillers to reduce the suffering and this lead to increasing dependence on the former. While others might learn to rely on the drugs, to receive a high feeling that they experience during their treatment and thus become addict of it.

The problem is that many prescriptions given by doctors have addictive ingredients as Ultracet, Tramadol, Vioxx, Celebrex, mobic, bextra, imitrex, etc which led to their abuse in form of substance of addiction.

Cocaine Addictions

Wednesday 10 May 2006

Cocaine addictions are one of the common addictions, yet cocaine addicts are less rare than those addicted to prescriptions are. Cocaine addicts are lawyers, doctors, judges, cops, etc, i.e. these types of addicts come in all types of personalities.

In Houston, Texas, an officer was brought to justice since they found he was addicted to cocaine or crack cocaine. When the bust came, the police department discovered that the house owner was one of their force members.

The black people selling cocaine often sell to pay for heroin in certain areas of Michigan. This is a form of enslavement, since these people have a need, and are luring others into the drugs, thus leading to more addictions. In certain parts of Michigan, these dealers and addicts are selling their children in a drug ring in an effort to get drugs, or drugs that are more powerful to name.

Feelings of Cocaine Addicts

These people have no feelings for others, e.g. in certain areas of Michigan drug addicts went into a home for sale and took over. These people have no feelings for society, or anyone, and all they think about is where they are going to get the next hit.
