Addicts will often covert their addictions, making self-invisible to others, i.e. they hide drugs from family members and/or friends. Most times the person is not aware of their dependency to the drugs, thus denial is generally visible. Addictions caused by prescription drugs, start unknowingly, and leads to awareness that a problem exists. At this point, the person has no control over his/her addiction.

Painkillers

Doctors will often prescribe painkillers, antidepressants, and other drugs that are highly addictive. Yet many dealers visit the doctor office claiming an illness or chronic pain exists, and will receive prescriptions, selling the drugs to the addicts.

Many people suffering chronic pain will resort to painkillers and if the doctor fails to prescribe the pills, the person will seek out dealers to acquire the drugs. Still, we must consider that doctors prescribe medications, which are highly addictive and some of these medications have caused death.

Some of the drugs given for chronic pain include Ultracet, Tramadol, Vioxx, Celebrex, mobic, bextra, imitrex, opiods, etc. Opiods are highly addictive, since the drug is housing ingredients, including opium. At one time opium posed no harm, yet after a man from Germany toyed with the poppy seed including acids and ammonia, the drug become potent. Later heroin came into focus from opium poppy seed. Still, other medications given to patients, such as EFFEXOR are dangerous as well.

Cigarettes and Tobacco

Cigarettes are probably the most leading addictions of today. Addiction to smoking is reached usually within first year of experimenting with cigarettes, may be for fun or any other reason and later on this shows serious impacts.

Tobacco is the prime ingredient in Cigarettes, which has Nicotine as a key component and it acts as a strong stimulant drug. Nicotine is a leafy plant grown in many areas of the world.

Recently all governments around the globe increased tax on the Cigarettes , but it has not discouraged people to stop smoking. Furthermore, new laws restrict daily smokers to smoke in certain areas, but it failed to stop the smoker’s addiction to the nicotine. Marijuana, cocaine, Smack etc. are all illegal, yet many people use them.

Most Of the Drugs Contains Nicotine

Nicotine has more than 14 drugs that lead to addiction. Nicotine alters the functions of the brain, which stimulates to use the drugs. The drugs will cause symptoms of withdrawal, e.g. if the person tries to quit smoking - anxiety attacks, irritability, etc will occur.

Crack addicts by far are the worst types of addicts in the world. Crack addicts will sell their own bodies, sell their children, steal, lie, cheat, connive, etc all in the name of crack. Crack addicts often get started on crack by trying the harsh chemical out of curiosity, and fatally the person lands in a snare that leads them straight into addiction.

Can everyone become addicted to crack?

Still, is crack, an addictive drug and can everyone become addicted to crack? Simply put, no. Some people may try the drug out of curiosity while others may come in contact with the drug (someone putting drugs in a marijuana joint) and may feel miserable after contact and will never use the drug again. (Or else pray no one laces his or her joint again)

Crack addicts often lack mechanisms in their physical or mental area that leads them to drugs. Not everyone that has mental or physical illnesses however will resort to alcohol and/or drugs to relieve their suffering.

Still, something inside the person is driving them to crack to find relief of suffering. Most people that drink heavily or else drug are trying to relieve something inside with the exception of those trying to escape reality.

Is it possible to give up addictions? No, but it is possible to work toward recovery, i.e. depending on the addiction. Pornography, sex, personality, and relationship addictions are complex, therefore if a person is capable of giving up the addictions decides on additional learning.

What Causes Persons Addicted to Alcohol?

Substance abuse is the overuse of alcohol, heroin, opium, morphine, crack, cocaine, marijuana, etc. A substance abuser will endure withdrawals, as well as other symptoms especially if their addiction is not satisfied. Yet, other addictions is considered, which are shopping addictions, sex, relationship, eating etc. Alcohol is probably one of the most used drugs, yet it is not on top of the list.

Many reasons that persons become addicted to alcohol, and some of those reasons include stress, heartbreaks, death or lose of a loved one, family or peer problems, and pain stemming from physical and emotional injuries. Often when the reason is stress, the person is stressed out from work, family, or related problems. In most instances the stress of having family can become devastating to a man, which leads him to drink, especially drinking to escape his problems. This course of escape is never healthy, since it leads to malnutrition, liver damage, kidney failure, heart attacks and so on. Alcohol addictions can lead to eating disorders and/or addictions.

Sex addictions can be deadly. In fact, sex addictions lead to death in more than one way. There are a several types of sex addicts that can be classified on the basis of their acts as well as their motives behind addictions.

Sex addictions as can be of different type, so can be the various reasons for this mental illness and so different can be the features or habits attached with each kind.

More or less, all kinds of sex addictions are a result of common reasons such as wrong exposure during early age, mentally sickness, being sufferer of similar act or some other psychological factors.

Categorizing Sex Addicts

Addicts can be categorized as Pedophiles, Serial Rapist, Sadism, Serial killer (psychopathic/hedonistic/sociopath) or Hedonistic personality all depending on their motives.

Pedophiles

Pedophiles and Sadisms often take pleasure in the sex part, however these people receive gratification far beyond the act of intercourse, i.e. from a distinct feel that they are doing something forbidden and also, getting away with their crime. This thought give them high that comes from a flow of adrenaline in their system.

Why do people become addicted to sex? The reason is obvious to few people since the action can bring pleasure. Still, people addicted to sex may swing from partner to partner, and at the same time knowing they are at risk, will continue their behaviors.

Sex additions are no innovative problem. Rather in Sodom and Gomorrah, the recordings in the bible indicate that sex addictions reached back to B.C. The inborn notion of sex is between a man and woman in union of marriage, yet nowadays man/man, woman/woman, multiple partner relationships is not uncommon.

Pornography and Prostitutes

Pornography is the root of sexual deviants and we can see that pornography developed and continued throughout society B.C. Prostitution and other sexual infertilities have been issues long before today.

Some people believe that prostitutes have sexual addictions. This is far from the truth, since sexual addictions can also involve no sex. Some sex addicts are predator in nature and will often fantasize about sexual encounters, including penetration, oral, sadism, etc. The person will masturbate regularly while engaging in immoral thoughts. Yet, while the person is fantasizing they may not search for a partner, unless the intentions are to harm or to someone willing to engage in sadistic behaviors during intercourse.

Sex Addiction affects Social, Office and Family Life

Sex is a physiological need which every human being has a desire as well as right to full fill. However, when goes unchecked this desire can lead to addiction i.e. Sex Addiction. The addict in this case, has a continuous craving for his sexual urges irrespective of meeting of it.

Sex need is not an uncommon thing; in fact, the lack of it can be a sign to some psychological problem, which the person suffers. As like other basic needs sex also, act as a motivator, satisfying agent, means for relaxation and over all is a must act for the continuation of human cycle on this earth.

However, when this act of normal course starts affecting a person and his social, office and family life then he is driving towards its addiction. People addicted to sex may swing from partner to partner, to satisfy themselves. Though having knowledge that they are at risk, they continue their behaviors.

It’s Prevalent from back to B.C

Sex addictions are no innovative problems. The recordings in the Historical literature indicate prevalence of sex addictions far back to B.C. Then this addiction was a cause for complete wash of several destinies and today also, it could play havoc in the addicted person life.

Is this What the Freedom Of Speech and Media Says?

The world is gone mad. The media, magazines, TV, government and many other sources are allowing pornography to exist regardless of whom it hurts. Some people argue that the Freedom of Speech Act enables these producers and manufactures to promote, and produce pornography. This is far from the truth, since the Act of Freedom of Speech does not include illicit pictures.

What Pornography Leads to?

A person addicted to pornography material is probably the worst types of addicts, outside of crack addicts. Pornography has lead to murder, thief, lies, deceit, torture, etc and it only promotes serial killers, serial rapists, pedophiles, etc.

People with pornography addictions tend to masturbate frequently, and will often switch sexual partners on an ongoing basis. Most addicts will use pornographic materials to satisfy a greed, envy, or burning desire, which is a selfish desire.

Pornographic addictions are harder to understand, since it is a thought provoking action backed by chemicals and hormones. Persons engaging in pornography will often have lack of respect and might extend their addiction to extreme harmful acts, i.e. pornography leads to child molestation and pornography depictions of innocent children. Both men and women engaging in pornographic materials are sick mentally and will need help to recover.
